Ticket & THEATRE Policies
We’re thrilled to welcome you to the Springer Opera House! Please note that tickets are non-refundable. If you need to change your plans, tickets can be exchanged for a different date before the event, as long as seats are available (fees may apply). Exchanges for a different production are not permitted.
Every guest, no matter their age, must have a ticket, which is valid only for the date and performance printed on it. If your ticket is lost or misplaced, the Box Office may be able to reissue it. Children should be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. Doors open at the posted time, and seating begins then. For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, staff may adjust seating for late arrivals until intermission.
-
Late arrivals are seated at the discretion of the Springer Opera House staff. Once a show is underway, patrons may be held in the lobby until an appropriate break in the performance.
Seating locations may be adjusted based on availability until intermission, after which ticketed seats can be resumed. Patrons who leave the theatre during the performance may also be asked to wait for a suitable re-entry point.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain a smooth and respectful environment for everyone.
-
Everyone attending a ticketed event, including all children regardless of age, must have a ticket. This is required to comply with fire codes and to ensure the safety of all our patrons.
Not all performances are appropriate for all ages. Some productions may include content best suited for older audiences. Age recommendations will be listed on show pages when applicable. Read all information on the individual event pages carefully before purchasing your tickets.
If a child becomes disruptive, a guardian may be asked to take them to the lobby until an appropriate return point.
-
For the well-being of the cast and the safe closing of the building, actors are not available for meet-and-greets, autographs, or photos after the performance. Patrons should not plan to remain in the theatre or lobby once the show concludes. Staff will guide everyone toward a comfortable and timely exit. This helps the company prepare for the next performance and allows the performers the rest they need to do their best work.
-
Although there is no specific dress code at the Springer Opera House, uur patrons usually dress in business casual attire. We ask that you refrain from wearing strong perfumes, colognes, or lotions (your fellow patrons with allergies or sensitivities will thank you).
As a Historic building, the Springer Opera House is subject to temperature variations. A light wrap, sweater or jacket is recommended for those who have a tendency to be cold. Please know that our staff continually works to keep the temperature comfortable for our patrons.
-
The Springer Opera House aims to keep performances focused and enjoyable. Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward performers, staff, and one another.
Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the theatre. This includes loud talking, repeated seat changes, visible intoxication, and any behavior that distracts performers or fellow patrons.
Patrons must follow all instructions from Springer Opera House employees and volunteers. Failure to comply may result in removal without refund.
