The Springer Theatre Academy offers fantastic and fun classes for kids - why not adults? Well, now we do! The Springer is pleased to announce a series of Master Classes for Adults, only. Classes offered this FALL include Acting, Improvisation, Musical Theatre Dancing, Musical Theatre Singing and a NEW class: STAGE COMBAT! All classes begin with fundamentals, so that everyone can learn and anyone can succeed. We are also offering advanced classes in all subjects to provide an accelerated challenge to returning students and new students with previous experience. You will have fun and strengthen your performance skills in the process!

Acting with Ron Anderson

Acting is as fun as it looks, but it is also a craft. So, learn from a craftsman. Discover the basics of stage acting with Academy Director and veteran performer Ron Anderson. The class covers voice and body fundamentals, stage presence, script analysis and effective scene partnering.
Stage Combat with Ron Anderson

Fundamentals of combat. Not the real thing of course, but the staged version, which is cool, safer and more fun. Carefully controlled partnering skills to produce both realistic and stylistic falls, punches, kicks, slaps, chokes, hair pulls and other moves. No experience necessary – we will teach you. Expect a good workout, a lot of fun, a safe experience, good stage application and considerable mayhem-ery.
Musical Theatre Singing with Debbie Anderson

Experience the freedom of vocal expression in musical theatre! Renowned singer and voice teacher, Debbie Anderson will use Broadway songs in class to guide you through the building blocks: proper breathing, posture and alignment, ridding tension, focusing sound, extending the range and connecting with the text.
